Global Learning

Welcome to Ponderosa Elementary!   Our school of dedicated teachers and staff is committed to providing a robust educational experience for students, which includes helping to prepare them to be inquisitive learners and global citizens who interact with, care for, and contribute in positive ways to the world around them. We strive to help students to development their higher order thinking skills, and in their ability to apply these skills effectively as they work to solve issues and problems of both local and global significance.

Our Mission:  To foster globally competent students who investigate the world, recognize perspectives, communicate ideas and take action by:
